I knew that the Charles Darwin Foundation had a volunteer program. I just didn't know if I fit the kind of volunteer they could use. However, when I sent them the links to my clip art and murals, it didn't take long at all to get a reply. And, that reply was YES! The foundation created their own educational materials and they liked the idea of my kid-friendly art for those materials and some murals on three separate islands.

Their educational materials emphasize things in the environment like recycling, living in harmony with nature, and conserving water. My cartoons were used for banners, posters, calendars and even a children's book. I can't wait for that one to be in print!
