You know your school has clout in all the right places when the 75th anniversary is commemorated with two official postage stamps by the Philippine government.  And, to make that even more special, there was a competition to design the stamps, and both of my designs were selected.  That would have never happened if I stayed in Ohio.

Already I was pleased with the goings on for the school's anniversary, but there was more to come.  On the night of the school's International Dinner, one of my four lottery tickets won me a free trip to Kuching.   I didn't have a clue where it was -- and I didn't care.  And in case you, too, have never heard of Kuching, it is on the island of Borneo, on the Malaysian side.
