COMMUNITY THEATER

I believe that most good teachers are also good actors.  You have to be to entertain kids all day long. So, when the opportunity presented itself, I decided to give it a go and go on stage.  I didn't know that it would also involve singing, dancing and a lot of sweat.  I had a lot of fun in my first major production as the sleazy, womanizing father in, "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum."

Then, it got into my blood.  I took the lead romantic role in a comedy called, "Black Comedy."  It was a tale of the problems of another sleazy, womanizer during a power outage.  No singing, no dancing but this role involved even more sweat.
