E-Books on SafetoLearn
Experience the adventures of muraling in Liberia, Albania, South Africa and Swaziland from the safety of your home. And then, sample some of the recipes gathered along the way in A Taste of My World cookbooks volume one and two.

.

Coffee Table Photography Journals
Some of my favorite journeys needed further documentation in books. Read the Manual and learn how to paint a mural in Piedras Negras, Mexico. Or, follow me to two of my most special locations on the planet in Liberia and Brasil. (Spelled like a local.)

.

Children's Books
It's a long-overdue, natural fit - my art with my writing. My first two books are both in the works at this moment and soon will be ready. One is "Pick Me!" cried Arilla, a delightful tale about a star awaiting her assignment. The other book is a collection of fifty Liberian Folk Tales, gathered back in my Peace Corps days, called Once Upon West Africa.

Not one to sit around and bask in the glory of my two books, I'm also working on Triple Gratitude with Assorted Monsters, a story about taking the time to be grateful, as well as Anansi and the Market Pig, a folk tale from Jamaica (where I'm eventually supposed to paint two murals).

When these books are ready for sale, the links will be added.

    Art Teacher

University of Wisconsin-Stout Online professor of "Art for the Non-Art Teacher". This course is for all teachers and is designed to enhance art education at a time when the arts are threatened by the standardization of education and at risk of being cut from the core curriculum. The course will emphasize hands-on experience integrating the Elements of Art (line, shape, texture, value, color and space), followed by the Principles of Art (harmony, variety, contrast, balance, movement, and dominance), and Artistic Styles (realism, impressionism, pointillism, and surrealism) and strategies supportive of art integration as part of cross-curriculum instructional activities.
