PUBLICATIONS :   Author and Artist

Children's Books
It's a long-overdue, natural fit - my art with my writing. My first original story is titled "Pick Me!" Cried Arilla, a delightful tale about a star awaiting her assignment. Published about the same time, after gather dust inside my computer for about 25 years, is a collection of fifty Liberian Folk Tales, gathered back in my Peace Corps days, called Once Upon West Africa.

Not one to sit around and bask in the glory of my first two books, and confined to my home office during a world-wide epidemic, I've worked on several more books. Triple Gratitude with Assorted Monsters is a story about taking the time to be grateful. Anansi and the Market Pig, a folk tale from Jamaica, was inspired by a trip to the island to paint murals with the U.S. Embassy.  I've also written Once Upon Southern Africa, A Fowl Chain of Events, The Half-Rooster, The Bible as Simple as ABC, Shirley, Goodness and Mercy, The Stone at the Door, Hark and Harold Angel Sing, The Frog Princess, and The Day that Goso Fell.

You can purchase them from my website here.

Coffee Table Photography Journals
